Two nights ago in Austin, TX, Peter Hook & The Light began their tour of the United States.
Hook – a former member of and songwriter for the seminal bands Joy Division and New Order – is one of the most innovative and influential bass players in rock history. His ability to produce indelible melodies on his instrument and pound out heavy dance grooves is unparalleled.
Now, as the frontman for The Light, Hook brings his charismatic stage presence, good humor, and vocal abilities to the center of the stage.
The 2014 tour features a set of classic Joy Division songs, as well as sets devoted to New Order’s unforgettable Low-Life (1985) and Brotherhood (1986) albums and the key period singles.
Tonight, Hook & The Light will appear in Philadelphia. Check out the tour schedule below and don’t miss your chance to see Hooky at his finest.
