Alt-Pop Songstress Delacey Drops A Striking & Seductive Debut LP

Written by:

Los Angeles-located alternative pop singer-songwriter Delacey has consistently crafted a compelling string of singles, but her debut album Black Coffee is without a doubt her strongest showing to date.

Blending the timeless longing of Lana Del Rey with the dark production of contemporaries like BANKS, and penning revealing and heartfelt lyrics about love, lust, and loss, Delacey provides a unique blend that’s unmistakably her own.

Black Coffee was produced by Ido Zmishlany (The Chainsmokers, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello) and features an array of hits like “Cruel Intentions,” which features rising rap star G-Eazy, and fan-favorite “The Subway Song.”

The release is a fitting celebration of her MTV Push accolade, festival appearances at Outside Lands Festival and Austin City Limits, and signing to legendary hitmaker L.A. Reid’s HITCO label in partnership with her own record company, Delicate Flower.

Delacey has co-written songs for Halsey (“Without Me”), Demi Lovato, Zara Larsson, The Chainsmokers, and more, but on Black Coffee she shines brightly with her striking and seductive songs.
